If you already have a print-ready logo, that's perfect. If not, don't worry – we're here to help.

 

Before production begins, we'll check your artwork to make sure it's suitable for embroidery or print. If any preparation is needed, we'll explain exactly what's required and provide a quotation before any work starts.

1. Complimentary Artwork Assessment - FREE

If you already have a suitable logo or design, we'll carry out a complimentary artwork check before production.

Preferred file formats include:

  • Adobe files
  • EPS

  • High-resolution PNG

If your artwork is ready to go, we'll move straight into production.

AI-Generated Artwork

AI is a fantastic tool for generating ideas and creative concepts, and we genuinely enjoy seeing the inspiration our customers bring to us. It helps us understand the style, look and feel you're trying to achieve.

However, AI-generated artwork almost always requires professional preparation before it can be printed onto garments. Elements such as image quality, transparency, sizing, colours and fine detail often need refining to ensure the finished product looks as good in real life as it does on screen.

We'll assess your artwork free of charge and let you know if any preparation is recommended before production begins.

2. Artwork Preparation for Print - From £10

 

For logos that are already suitable but need minor adjustments.

This can include:

  • Background removal
  • Transparent PNG creation
  • File resizing
  • Basic colour adjustments
  • Minor amendments to supplied artwork
  • Print ready preparation

We'll always assess your artwork first and let you know if any preparation is required before we begin.

3. Logo Redraw - From £35

 

For artwork requiring more attention, including:

  • Low resolution logos
  • Screenshots
  • Photos of existing clothing
  • Old business logos

Need a completely new business logo?

Artwork Credits

Artwork charges are a one-off fee. Once your artwork is prepared, future orders using the same design will not incur additional artwork fees.

 

To keep things fair, artwork preparation charges are credited against garment orders over £500.

This means if you proceed with a qualifying order, your artwork preparation investment is deducted from your final order value.

Please note that original design projects, new artwork creation and larger creative projects are quoted separately.

What if I only have a photo of my logo?

That's absolutely fine. Send us what you have and we'll assess it. In many cases we can recreate the artwork into a professional, production-ready format.

Will you tell me if artwork needs work?

Yes. We'll always check your artwork before production and explain if any preparation is recommended. No artwork preparation is carried out without your approval.

Can you design a completely new logo or T-shirt graphic?

Yes. Our in-house graphic designer can create original artwork for businesses, events, clubs and promotional clothing. Every project is quoted individually based on the brief.

Do I own the finished artwork?

Artwork created specifically for production remains the intellectual property of Workwear Scotland unless otherwise agreed. If you require ownership or editable artwork files, just let us know and we'll discuss the available options before work begins.
